So, this blog has been quiet of late. Why? Well, I’ve been in Melbourne.
While I was there, I participated in protests against the G20 Conference, and also did a spot of forest blockading in East Gippsland.
Won’t say any more for now, but if you want to know more about the G20 and what went down, I can highly reccomend A Rush And A Push, a collaborative blog that’s been set up to try to expand on thoughts that began with A Space Outside (a conference prior to the G20) and during the G20 itself.
Normal blogging will resume shortly.

Oh George, I do so love it when you try to act tough and pretend you have the slightest clue whats going on with my life. Meanwhile, your buddy Steve Larsen hides around the corner while he gets Nic Miller to beg people to stop harassing him. How tragic.

You guys did a good job over there. Love how the media and Melbourne authorities referred to it as one of the most violent in 20 years. At first, i actually thought- considering the coverage- it might have been. But in actuality it wasn’t; just the media doing what it does best and focusing on particular events to sensationalise it.

Very true
Though I’d suggest keeping him on for the same reason. Better still, maybe Kerry can arrange a promotion of some kind? I know thats a bit tricky in a 3 man organisation, but every bit helps (us).

What group does George belong to?
April 23, 2007 at 11:45 am
New Right, the wonderous group of Kerry Bolton, Steve Larsen and George Walters. They split off from the National Front when Kyle Chapman quit as head and Sid Wilson took over.
They’re also affiliated with the National Democrats, a new group headed by Anton Foljambe that is doing even less than New Right is.
